Natalie Crawford is the oldest daughter of Ben and Christy Crawford in the American version of Secrets and Lies. Played by Australian actress Indiana Evans, Natalie makes her debut in the series' premiere episode, "The Trail", in the series' first season. Sixteen years old, Natalie is the older sister of Abby, and is fiercely protective of her father. Too pretty for her own good, she is the typical snarky teen towards her parents and little sister. Natalie babysat for Tom Murphy often, both at her house and his. Living across the street from Tom, Natalie has always been friendly with the Murphy family. Her father, Ben, is the one who found five-year-old Tom's body while on an early morning run, and was the first to be accused of his murder.

She is like an ordinary teenager with teen angst. she usually like any other teenage girls, who will date the hot guy who is brooding and a bad boy type. Mostly she will also date a popular jock who is a bad boy type or just arrogant and egotistical. Her mother resents her for having her really young, she had big plans. She has an estranged relationship with her mother who always punish her if she gets in trouble or date a bad boy type. Mostly her father will scare off her boyfriends and punish her too. Sometimes she does hate them, mostly they are pushing her to graduate high school and go to college. Make sure they live a thousand miles away from them and she leaves their house.

She is very attractive. She looks like her mother Christy and a little bit like her father Ben. She does have a lot of guys lining up to date her. Mostly Ben or Christy scares them off and they are fiercly protective of her.
