Official Description
ERIC WARNER is at the top of his game. Smart, well-educated and hard working - he's the heir apparent to his father John's private equity firm, Sherwood Equity Group, "SEG", in Charlotte, NC. Newly married to "the one" and walking on air, he's attending a party to honor dad passing over the reins when suddenly tragedy strikes. Eric finds his wife Kate dead, and life, as he knows it, is over.
The Fall
Eric is preparing for a speech and goes looking for his wife. He goes to a popular spot, their building's rooftop, where he and Kate spend a lot of their time. He notices something isn't right and runs to the rail, where he looks over the edge, noticing his wife's body laying in a pool of blood on the sidewalk below. He rushes down to clutch and hold his now deceased wife when Detective Sergeant Andrea Cornell arrives to investigate. She immediately comes to the conclusion that Kate didn't commit suicide, but rather was pushed over the railing. Eric becomes the prime suspect in the murder of his wife.
