Hello Secrets and Lies fans! I apologize its been awhile since my last blog entry. At one time I planned on writing a post to commemorate every holiday. Sickness around Christmas, however, rendered my mission futile. So I wanted to write one - but being my first blog post of the year, I needed something of substance to write about. Well I just got finished watching the Australian version of the show and therefore I have plenty to write about! Happy Father's Day 2015
Happy Father's Day to everyone here at the Secrets and Lies wiki! Hopefully you have a dad or fatherly figure you can wish a Happy Father's Day to, also.
There been several fathers throughout the series, Ben Crawford, Ben Gundelach, Scott Murphy, Paul Murnane, Joseph Richardson, Tim Turner, but it's Ben Crawford who reminds us all of the powerful bond of fatherhood.
Poor Ben barely found out he got the son he always wanted, but he didn't get the chance to enjoy it. Instead, his son was murdered, and Ben chooses to protect his youngest daughter, and winds up going to prison in her place. A father's love is a strong bond. Martin Henderson to be featured in Grey's Anatomy
For those of you who thought you might never get the chance to see your favorite characters from the Australian version of "Secrets & Lies" again, don't fear! You will at least get the chance to see Martin Henderson again.
For those of you who don't know, Martin Henderson played the role of Ben Gundelach, a man whose life is turned upside-down when he is accused of murdering his 4-year-old neighbor, Thom.
For those of you who also don't know, the American series "Secrets and Lies" is based on the Australian series "Secrets & Lies". The first season of both involved an identical plot line, however, in the American version it is Ben Crawford who is accused of murdering his 5-year-old neighbor, Tom.

SAL Production moves to California
The newest news revolving around everyone's favorite series is that production of Secrets and Lies is moving from Wilmington, North Carolina to California.
In the midst of several television shows packing up to film in California, Secrets and Lies, like the others, are going for one reason, and one reason only.
States provide tax credits to television and film producers for filming in their state. And while SAL was able to receive a $100 Million dollar tax credit for it's filming in the state of North Carolina, California recently raised their tax credit limit from $100 Million to $330 Million.

Happy Memorial Day to everyone here at the Secrets and Lies wiki!
While everyone loves their barbecues, picnics and family outings, let us not forget the real reason for the season. To honor and memorialize those who have sacrificed their lives to defend our country and keep it safe.
And even Secrets and Lies had its soldiers. Paul Murnane, Scott Murphy, Cornell's sister and Cornielle's brother come to mind. And while the aforementioned soldiers didn't lose their lives during the Iraqi War, they still gave their lives, and would have, to defend the country they fought so hard for.

We here at the Secrets and Lies Wiki want to wish a Happy Mother's Day to all of the mothers out there!
Whether your Christy Gundelach, Christy Crawford, Jess Murphy, Jess Murnane, or even Andrea Cornell, you've worked hard over the years trying to raise your family.
...And even if one of your kids grew up to be a murderer, or wound up in prison, that doesn't necessarily mean you failed to do your job.
You did everything you could and that's all a mom can do.
Hopefully you've thanked your mom, or the motherly figure in your life, for everything she has done for you. Be sure to tell yours Happy Mother's Day, and don't forget to stress the fact that at least she didn't raise an Abby Crawford, Eva Gundelach, or even a Jennifer Barrett!

Thoughts on the ending and of a second season
Welcome to my blog! While most of my blog posts are generally updates to inform users of the status of projects I am working on, or to inform them of new features or changes being added to the wiki, I also like to post on major holidays, and, like today, will occassionaly post my thoughts on events surrounding the film.
How'd you like the ending this past Sunday!? Anybody who watched Ryan Phillippe's interview ABC posted the other day, you'd know that he promised the ending would be devastating. And sure enough it was. I was really hoping it would be like the original Australian version... and it was... to an extent.
